Skin Care Routine: How to build routine for skin care.

Skin Care Routine:

A skin care routine is basically a set of steps that you follow to take care of your skin. The purpose of a skin care routine is to keep your skin healthy, hydrated and protected from the sun and other environmental factors. A good skin care routine can also help you solve other skin problems such as acne and aging.

There is no as such perfect skin care routine that can fit to everybody, as different skin types and conditions may require different products. However, a basic skin care routine usually has five essential steps: cleansing, toner, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. Select each and every product according to your skin type, which suits your skin. As everyone has different skin type and texture.

Let us understand how a typical morning routine looks like:

Cleanser: Use a gentle cleanser to remove oil, dirt and makeup from your skin. Wash with lukewarm water and pat dry with a towel.

Toner: Apply a toner to balance your skin’s pH level. You can use a cotton pad or your fingers to apply it to your face and neck. Avoid toners that contain alcohol, as they can dry out your skin.

Serum: Apply a serum that targets your specific skin concern, such as hydration, brightening, or anti-aging. Serums are concentrated form of a specific ingredient that works faster on skin. You just need few drops of serum and apply on your face and neck.

Moisturizer: Apply a moisturizer that suits your skin type and condition. Moisturizers help lock in moisture and prevent water loss from your skin. They also create a protective layer on your skin.

Sunscreen: Apply a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun. Sunscreen is the most important step in your skin care routine, as it prevents premature aging, sunburn, and skin cancer. You should apply sunscreen every day, even if you are not going outside.

Night routine could look similar to the morning routine, with some differences:

Cleanser: Usen the same cleanser as in the morning or use an oil-based cleanser to remove sunscreen more effectively. This will clean all the dirt form your skin that may stick throughout your day.

Toner: Use the same toner as in the morning or use a different one that has more exfoliating or hydrating properties. Some toners contain ingredients like glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or hyaluronic acid, which can help improve your skin texture, tone, moisture level and this ingredient also helps to reduce pimples and gives a clean and clear skin.

Serum: Use the same serum as in the morning or use a different one that has more potent or retinol-based ingredients. Retinol is a form of vitamin A that can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and dark spots. However, retinol can also make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so you should only use it at night and wear sunscreen during the day.

Moisturizer: Use the same moisturizer as in the morning or use a moisturizer that can nourish you skin overnight. Find a good moisturizer which can help repair skin.

You can also use other products to your routine such as masks and exfoliators, depending on your skin type. However, you should not use them every day. As they can irritate your skin. It is okay to use them once a week.

Only following these routines can’t help you achieve a glowing skin. You need to have a good diet which should have all the essential vitamins and minerals. And at least 10-15 minutes of exercises on daily basis which help in proper circulation of the blood.

I hope this information helps you!
